Collingwood are delighted to have teamed up with Powell Dobson, architects who have designed and built many new schools. Our goal is to support groups and organisations who aspire to setting up their own Free School. We have combined our experience of running and transforming challenging large comprehensive schools, as well as designing environments which promote effective learning and behaviours. This has led us to provide support for a whole range of school projects, here and in Africa and America.

Our approach to education is simple. ‘Aspire’ is our concept for designing creative, intelligent learning communities that are designed from the child outwards (Read more on our blog), but your ideas are most important. Free Schools are about delivering local needs and priorities, for students, parents, staff, and the wider community. We want to find out what drives you, and take it from there.
